Since 1987 the Marcus Fabrics company has been the benchmark for reproduction quilting fabrics. From their beginning in 1911 the attention to detail has been a hallmark of the fabric designs and this continues with the new Molly B's Studio brand.

Molly B's Studio specialises in traditional fabric designs that offer versatility for a variety of quilting and craft projects. The design team focuses on mixable motifs and colour palettes that can be used together as a group or blended with other Marcus collections. The first collection, Basics, Borders & Backgrounds will be available from April/May.

Curious Nature by David Butler of Parson Gray in Stores Now


Curious Nature the first fabric collection from the Parson Gray brand for Free Spirit is now in Australian Shops. The person behind the Parson Gray brand is the multi talented David Butler, many of you will know him as the husband of Amy Butler.

David describes Curious Nature as: "A folk modern interpretation of natural elements. It weaves together a balance of sophisticated hand-drawn patterns inspired by Japanese indigo and mid-century fine art. The palette is grounded in richly muted nature tones evoking clear night skies, deep forest & dark ocean balanced by bone ivory & oyster greys".
